Birch Creek Angus 4-Year Bull Guarantee | Bull Fertility, Soundness & Breeding Assurance
At Birch Creek Angus, we stand behind the quality and longevity of our Angus breeding bulls with a comprehensive 4-Year Bull Guarantee. We understand that purchasing a herd sire is a significant genetic investment in your cowherd, and we are committed to helping cattle producers protect that investment.
Our bull guarantee covers qualifying issues related to feet, structural soundness, fertility, and certain accidental injuries beyond the buyer’s control. This guarantee is designed for bulls used in standard beef cattle breeding programs under normal management conditions.
Birch Creek Angus 4-Year Bull Guarantee Terms
Our guarantee provides a declining credit based on the bull’s age and breeding season, beginning on the date of purchase.
- Year 1 – 100% Guarantee: From the date of purchase through 60 days into the first breeding season.
- Year 2 – 75% Credit: Begins after the first 60 days of the first breeding season and continues until the first day of the second breeding season.
- Year 3 – 50% Credit: Begins on the first day of turnout for the second breeding season and continues until the first day of turnout for the third breeding season.
- Year 4 – 25% Credit: Begins on the first day of the third breeding season and covers the following 60 days. The guarantee terminates at the end of this period.
Bull Guarantee Requirements and Exclusions
To maintain the integrity of our Angus bull guarantee, the following terms and conditions apply:
Original Purchaser Only: The guarantee applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Proper Bull Management: The purchaser is responsible for the proper care, feeding, nutrition, and management of the bull. Adequate nutrition and responsible herd management are essential to bull longevity and breeding performance. Birch Creek Angus reserves the right to deny a credit if inadequate feeding, improper maintenance, or owner negligence is discovered.
Reporting Injuries or Issues: The original purchaser must contact Birch Creek Angus within seven days of discovering an injury, fertility concern, structural issue, or other potential claim. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible so we can work with you to address the situation.
Bull Mortality and Veterinary Examination: In the event of a bull’s death, the original purchaser must notify Birch Creek Angus within seven days and immediately arrange for a licensed veterinarian to perform a postmortem examination.
Excluded Events: The guarantee does not cover natural disasters or acts of God, including earthquakes, fires, and floods. Bulls struck by vehicles on public roads are also excluded, as these incidents may be covered by the motorist’s insurance.
Our Commitment to Your Angus Bull Investment
At Birch Creek Angus, we believe a breeding bull should deliver lasting value through soundness, fertility, and dependable performance. Our four-year guarantee reflects our commitment to our customers and the long-term success of their cowherds.
If you experience a problem with a Birch Creek Angus bull, please contact us promptly. We want to be the first to know about any concerns and work with the original purchaser to determine whether the issue qualifies under the terms of our guarantee.
